Friendly and very nice staff. Very nice and clean cabin would highly recommend.
We used to vacation here all of the time when our kids were younger but then moved to the beach. This is a Great Resort ran by a great family. We were evacuated from Rockport, TX due to Hurricane Harvey with our 2 dogs, one of them being 196 pound Mastiff. Really great people and really appreciate them accommodating us and our situation. They went above and beyond to help families evacuated from this storm and it was the beginning moment of all of the human kindness I have witnessed from all over Texas in the last 3 weeks. We can't wait to come back and just Vacation next time.
Nice rustic place for a family vacation, pet friendly and quiet with play areas for kids. Lots of choices of room or cabin types for different sized groups.
I only went in the little convenient store on my way down to the boat slip. The store was quite diminutive but it had what I needed. The lake is beautiful with clear greenish hues and the rocks down around the slip are something to behold. Caught about 17 stripers on the lake that day! There were several families having a splendid time around the resort area.
What an amazing place! You can escape and relax with a small group of friends/family or celebrate something special with a large group of friends/family. I have done both and can't say enough great things about this special find. ❤️
